It's 5.07 in the morning of 31st of October 2005. Just approximately 40 hours ago, I had received my Leaving certificate, 2005 yearbook, practical work certificates, and a public examination slip. I assume that was my last day in school. But nope, our school did not choose to take off early. It was a good day actually. Fun.
Eeverybody got their yearbook, *flip flip flip*.. Getting signatures from each other as well. The Arts Peeps were signing on each other, literally. Just a couple of the guys actually. Well, there was only one Science Chiq that did that. And I was the first one who penned her down!!! hahaha.. Great Glory.. geezz... No discrimination or whatsoever to anyone when I used "Arts Peeps" & "Science Chiq", k?
I'm looking through universities right now. Looking for the suitable course.. which I have done 4 times already. Still can't make up my mind. Darn horoscope.. Strong believer I am, k? But don't read daily horoscopes anymore. Just believe what they say about the personalities and all. And it says we're very indecisive. Ok, maybe not. It depends on that particular individual lar.. So, I'm opting for Event Management(EM) or Mass Communications(MC). Supposely planning to do Music Management but don't think I'll be accepted into the college.
I so need a camera, so I can post pictures up here and it won't be boring. Then I'll have to wait till I get my paycheck.
2 albums I'd like to buy in November. Jay's "November's Chopin" & Xue Qian+Qi Zhen's debut album. Jay's is a definite, of course. The latter would be just for listening. Anyway, Jason is offering people to download Jay's whole album, even before his release date.
Goodness people.. Can't we all just stop the piracy? Yes, hard it seems. Very hard. But we CAN do it. Like they say," When the buying stops, the killing can too." .. If there are no requests, there slowly won't be piracy. It'll take a really long time. Not to mention having to educate the younger generation and the terrible community of piracy.
Someone should actually come up with something to stop people or softwares to copy/rip music out of the damn CDs. Since Nicole plans to take up computering, maybe we can work things out a little. Hahaha..If they wanted to, they'd have to purchase original CDs to get a password or something to enable them to rip files into their computer. No wait.. that won't work.. Maybe they should just abolish the whole ripping music files thing. Anyone who were to be caught sharing ripped music files by Internet(including P2P, file transfer programmes & etc.) or burned CDs shall be charged.
We really have to be more strict on the law already, people. You tell them not to do it, they don't listen. So you take stricter measures. Simply by 'password-protecting' the discs. If it still happens, punish them. But of course it requires coordination with certain/all organizations/companies etc.. Point is, we've gotta work together people !! These songwriters are working their butt off for your entertainment. Your favourite songs, favourite artistes ALL gone if you don't stop buying pirated shit. Who's there to entertain you with songs then?! Come on now.. Don't ruin other peoples passion and career just because you don't want to pay extra bucks for it. You people should know that producing an album is a lot of money. Copyright fees, producer's pay, sound engineer's pay, studio rent, promotional events and all that stuff just to get you people to buy their CDs. To make a living.
Goodness, maybe they should just put a shelf life on the damn songs. That'll teach em'...
