This was not written to show my dissatisfaction to anyone or any institute/party...whoever...It's just something I "realized" from.. my coursemates..which I think has already been pointed out in What We Gonna Do? (Lin Qing Zhao,Dec 2004).

I think lar..

Today in lecture, there were seniors who had to resit a particular subject from Diploma of Mass Communication(DIP-MCOMM), which is 'Intro to Mass Comm'. Our Lecturer, Miss Fiza gave us group work. The topic : Define Communication in your own words. Discuss. 10 minutes.

After discussion, we were to present our findings out front. Miss Yea 2 did the presentation quite well... with my EXCELLENT example of a form of communication... hahahahaha...

Anyway, there was this Dude.. "OH MY GOD !! HE'S SO CUTE !!", the other girls said thrilledly.

The audience clapped hard. More specifically, the Girls lar..

When he opened his, mouth to speak... crap...

Not to say I'm discriminating him just because he sounds farnie to me, k? I AM NOT. Don't get me wrong. Generally, his voice is fine but it's just that I've never heard a voice like his.(Serious, ok?). I don't really know how to describe his voice to y'all, it's like.. soft.. Meaning he's got good looks but a 'slightly soft' voice.. CONTRA..get??

So.. Then I realized, no matter how farnie a person sounds or acts, just with their good looks, they win everyone's heart.

OK lar, very general.. but I've never had this thought before so it's new to me.

Say we do an experiment, all right? No lar, let's just use an already conducted experiment with conclusions. We shall use Social Psychologist, Mr Arson's(something like that.) experiment.

Mr Arson conducted an experiment which proves what type of people most appeals to others. It goes like this :

4 participants will compete in a speech competition. 2 of them who are exceptionally excellent in this field have standards more or less the same. We'll call them A1 & A2. The remaining 2 are just average dudes with average skills on speaking. We'll call them Z1 & Z2.

A1 & Z1 accidentally knocked over a glass during their speech. If you were the audience, who would you find most appealing?

This experiment proved that : A1 which made a tiny mistake was the most appealing one of all & Z1 who had made the same mistake of tipping over a glass was the less appealing one.

So what does this mean? A person who has the most fascinating character will leave a more splendid impression on the audience eventhough he or she made a mistake. So basically, if you're chun, people dig you. So making minor mistakes would add points to your popularity bar. Informally, so to speak. This is called [The Mistake Effect](roughly translated.) in the human relation.

In this case.. don't forget I'm actually talking about looks and abilities.. We shall have A1, A2, Z1 & Z2 to compete for looks. A1 & 2 are Grade A looks. Z1 & 2 are Grade B looks. The rest of the experiment is the same. Conclusion also the same.

So I guess my point is society or the masses will accept anyone with good looks even if they lack of concrete abilities. They DO have abilities lar, I would say, that would be the ability to charm ladies. Fair enough?

Hmmm... I think I've thought about this topic before... Oh ya... got lar...

A splendid example of these individuals are some Taiwanese & HK artistes. I don't mean to insult them, k? It's a fact.

Oh ya, I'm not saying the Dude in my class is useless or whatsoever. He may have chun-ted traits I may have not seen yet. Same goes to everyone else I've mentioned in this post.

And I'm not saying I'm better than anyone else either...
