Wooh!! I'm up again!! Couldn't help thinking about credit hours. My Critical Thinking classes are actually 2 credit hours but they're free classes so...

Anyway, I realized I didn't include this in the previous entry as I intended to.

On Thursday, I had Critical Thinking class. Miss Peggy gave an intro about what we are going to learn.

Peggy :"Critical Thinking is about this this this..."

And when she came to a part where it reads :
Critical thinkers are:
  • bla bla bla
  • Judge matters depending on facts, not
    emotions.

Well, you see.. Ms Ker & Mr Tan had always told me to follow my heart, don't always think about other people's priority and forget about yourself. I've told other friends that as well. Ms Peggy said :"All the 'follow our heart' things are..hmmphh*shakes head*..You have to think based on facts.".. Something like that lar..but not in a you-must-believe-me-because-I'm-everything-in-the-world kinda way..

For example, Miss Peggy's example, if you need to have only 4 members in a group and you have 5 best friends. You have to consider whether so & so is a liability or an asset to your group. Can she contribute to the group? Can she delegate well? bla bla bla.. So many aspects to consider before kicking someone out. We can't just keep her because she's nice or friendly and all that. In the long run, the group will lose out if they keep a particular person decided based on their own emotions.

I've been doing /deciding on most of my stuff based on my emotions... well, except for Miss Yea 2's case lar.. Hahaha.. I'm not too sure about that lar actually.. So......... I don;t know how to conclude this.. I guess I just wanted to point it out that something I'm learning contradicts with what I've been told ..

THE END!!
