Hmm.. Today we went to a friend's dorm (It's actually just a link house but its under KDU) to discuss about a presentation we're suppose to be doing in two weeks time. The topic is Homosexuality. We went through some information about the topic that some other group members had found. Geez, homosexuality is SOOOO complicated. The historical background (It stretches back to the Roman empire or something like that), hypotheses, religious views on homosexuality etc.. Not to mention the really bombastic words used. I don't understand a thing!

In on another matter that is somewhat related. 30 minutes before the end of Organizational Communications class, our lecturer, the infamous (teaching wise) Ms Dayang ends class and Ms Shirley, our lovely Administration Executive enters and hands us a piece of paper, which is also my favourite piece of paper, the subject evaluation paper! At the end of the evaluation, Ms Karen, Head of Department, got a few students from the March 06 intake and 6 students from the Jan 06 intake to participate in a focus group.

According to Jess, one of the participants, the March 06 intake students were very unsatisfied with Ms Dayang. I recall that I had briefly mentioned a word or two about Ms Dayang, saying that she was stern and all that shit.
Huh.. turns out it's not true. Instead, (what the March 06 kids said) she : has bad English; no clarity (basically repeating the concept or theory when asked to explain); doesn't give notes and wants us to write our own notes, (so typical secondary school style, right?) resulting in us not being able to concentrate; can't control the class, leading to an indisciplined class; is like a textbook because all notes, explanations and elaborations come from the text itself; doesn't really have the knowledge about the subject (March kids claimed, but I doubt so. She has knowledge about the subject, but can't explain well enough that she has to refer to her notes. Though, I think she's actually looking for examples lar.)

So, yeah, that should be it. I think.

The March peeps were hot under the collar about this whereas the Jans were quite calm I must say. (No choice lar, newbies wert.. Haven't experience college before.haha)

But I sympathize her lar, got robbed of her laptop, which contains all her slides and notes a week or two ago, now kena bang like that. Her job is at risk. *Tsk tsk tsk*
