* Announcement at the bottom.

There's this issue over at Quincy Tan's blog where some dudes/chicks are posting hate messages, passing judgements and pretending to be him in the comments section.

Obviously his fans are FURIOUS.. (I'm ok with it lar.. No point scolding them also. Waste energy.).. So, they countered it by sticking up for him and shit..

So, as I was reading through the imposters' scribbles, I couldn't help but snigger.. silently, quietly..

Why in the world would anyone want to waste precious time (As if it's not been made clear enough that time is friggin' precious. E.g. books, notepads, parents, teachers etc.) to think of insults, type it in mandarin, and in the end waste electricity & money? Don't they know that tariffs have gone up up up up...

Anyway, I'm just really curious.. What is their objective? The thrill of seeing people go berserk over little insults of their idols? The curiosity of the effects of posting hatemail? Were they just bored? Were they just lurking around and stumbled upon these websites and decided to do something? Anyone reading this done it before??

Mind shedding some light into this bewildering issue? Just to have an insight on their perspectives. I'd appreciate it. Just throw in your opinions lar even if you haven't done it before.

One thing's for sure, the Insulted is popular or well-known enough to receive such attention lar.. Worth celebrating lar..

Oh, and I finally decided that my thoughts about how the media writes news relating to entertainment is just bull.. They make it sound like it's so gossipy.. so.... practically when I read it, thoughts about the media trying to persuade us into believing this shit was running freely in my head, with a section being conscious that I'm thinking "This is crap."

No offense to anyone. Especially the media... Ooh, guess what? I have a feeling that I'm spreading "
untruths and slander on the Internet" - Dr.M, The Star, 2 Aug 06.

Please tell me that I'm not. So I can sleep tonight.. seriously.. *Histerical* I'm not joking!!!
*Ends histerical* *Paranoia kicks in* Everyone Zzzipp it!!!

Some of you may be thinking, "Here she is talking about how the media writes, and there she is studying mass comm.".. Ya well, after learning about the media and all the things people don't really know, I tend to be skeptical nowadays. More than before la..

I understand that the titles are meant to capture your attention so you'll continue reading, but the content is a bit contradicting to the titles.. Ya, main objective is to make you read it, way of life, meant to be, blar blar blar, whatever... It's the feeling inside that is not right!

What does your heart tell you???!!
- Viola Hastings (Amanda Bynes), She's The Man.

So, conclusion, the media is doing their job and it's fine that they write that way. (Apparently to a lot, a lot of people..).. It's the supply-demand thing. People want gossip! And also because of technology. They want people to buy newspapers and magazines, not just count on E-this, E-that. Blar blar blar. Lots of other factors lar..

Gotta go wake The Hwey up for her driving class now. Tentatively, her exam is next Monday!!! License here we come!
