New year, new life. In with the new, out with the old. Finally cleaned our room and got a brand new router today. It was the router that was dead, so we couldn't surf the net. Life has been SOOOO hard without it. I am officially an Internet addict. If there's a proper term for it, do comment.

Shitload of pictures. But lost half of that load. Bloody hell. Lost the carolling sessions and Christmas in Cheras. Managed to salvage only a few. But I've got more on New Year's Eve and a couple from 6B Reunion.

*Add on #1: Ah! Guess what? Got 'Christmas in Cheras' pictures already! But only a few looked good lar so...

*Add on #2: Okay, so I just read the other half's entry. All the elaboration is there. A bit the funny feeling cuz every picture needs a caption. In my case, a few sentences long. I tend to carry on and on and on and on and on... But the photos will be here la.

Christmas carolling and Christmas in Cheras
Woke up damn early that morning considering that it was still my holidays. 10.30am I heard neighbours carolling. Deck the halls with boughs of holly, Fa la la la la la la la la...

Then left for Leisure Mall with Ngar Tian, Catherine, Kok Hay (not sure with the spelling), and Keong.
Lovely bunch.

It's so much better watching than being on stage.

I will never see or hear Christmas carols the same way ever again.

Went home at about 4 something in the afternoon and left 30 minutes later for Cheras again. Christmas dinner with the family. Went for dinner at this place called Hau Kei. It's in Taman Segar or somewhere there. The food tasted much better the first time I went there though. Maybe it was the menu that was different lar.. No prawns or something. They've got really good prawns.

Presents were great this year. The parents exceeded their budget. But they probably do every year though.

Ten people attended only. Inclusive of me. A bit sad case lar. Apparently we were known as the geeky class or something. All we do is study. But the teachers always complain we damn noisy.

Yung Chien, Sher-Mayne, Melissa, Jia Yee, Li Hui (currently Form 6 in Catholic), Dong Xiao, Lu Xian, Caryn, Lay Kei (currently Form 6 in Catholic), and I went. Waliao... When Li Hui arrived, I was wondering who is walking with him? I asked 'Who's that?' as quietly as I could to not seem rude. Lay Kei pun tak tahu, Jia Yee pun tak tahu. Then I asked Li Hui, that stranger turns out to be Dong Xiao. And I saw James Khor also.

Also found out from Lay Kei that her dad passed away in November. He was on dialysis for 6 years.

New Year's Eve with the Aunties and Mother
Supposedly going to Edwin's party but Aunts told Mum to take the twins with them. So we had dinner at Eden. Used to be my favourite place when I was younger. I loved the coral lights. Hwey emerged champion for a maths game! Four females playing only, you know.. Mai Seong, Mai Jo, Hwey and I.. Anyway, the oyster was fantastic! And I finally got to taste Creme Brulee!!

45 minutes into the new year, we got to know from the car jockey that there was a fight at the hawker stalls behind Starhill. Two young men were killed.

Back to college
Not enough sleep. Slept for only an hour plus and I woke up just like that. 7 o'clock, the ever familiar honking of the school bus outside my house. 5 days every week. Sleepy... Got piano later... NOOOOOO!!!!

Oh ya... Apparently the Merit Scholarship happens once or twice every year. So technically I can't apply for this semester. But I can apply in advanced using my last semester's results. It's like a passport. There'll be one in March. Supposed to go interview wor.. If I even pass the shortlisting process.

It's really nonsense to put a Merit Scholarship as twice or once a year. It should be every bloody semester. No fine print, no nothing on leaflets, brochures and all.

Mum has told us, just like every night, to go to bed.. bla bla bla. It's already 2.35am and Sean isn't home yet. Wonder what's he up to.. I have class in 5 hours plus. Principles of Copywriting and Intro to Radio Production. Spent the whole day fixing up this bloody post.
