SP - Cingular phones by Wirefly

Visit http://www.wirefly.com/plans/cingular/ to actually know what I'm talking about.

Checklist for prospective cellphone.

  • Red or Black. Check.
  • Flip phone. Check.
  • User-friendly. Check.
  • Good keypad. Semi check.

If I had the choice, or the money to pay for the service (or someone else to pay), or the fact that I'm in Longview, Texas, US, I'd pick this phone.

Motorola RAZR V3 Black. Comes with a free Jabra Bluetooth headset.

I was eyeing the Motorola RAZR V3 Fire Red. But it didn't come with a headset. : )

Last I heard, Motorola is said to be the most user-friendly phone. Ever. However, I don't like the fact that the keypad is flat, unlike Nokia or SE. But as long as it's user-friendly, it's okay. And when you select the phone, it comes with a plan with Cingular Wireless.

Just a few details of the plan (Cingular Nation 900 w/ Rollover)[read the plan details!]: 900 minutes per month, which is more than I'll ever use; three-way calling, which I'll probably use once in a blue moon; and detailed billing; which is good 'cause I like detail.

The phone, delivery and headset comes free. You just pay for the plan and other charges.

I have no idea how they can give away free phones just like that, but all this *motioning arms*, you can get from Wirefly.

p.s., They've got other free phones as well.
