I remember receiving this missed call a few years back. This girl had been missed calling me for a couple of days then. Left a message asking why am I not replying her and all that jazz. She thought I was her boyfriend.
First thing that popped into my head was, "How can she not know her boyfriend's number??!!"
*shakes person*
"Hello???!!!"
Anyway, I think she finally called and asked for her boyfriend. She was probably shocked to hear another girl's voice on the other end of the phone. Terrified. Pissed, even. But of course, I told her she got the wrong number. She never called back since.
Today.. Correction. Yesterday, I received a missed call. From a I-don't-know-who. Let's just call her Hannah for easy referencing. This morning, Hannah called again. This time it wasn't a missed call.

Women just love to make phone calls, don't they?
*Ring ring*
Me : "Hello?"
Hannah: "Hello?" (Probably shocked. Confused, as well.)
Me : "Yes?"
Hannah: *Silence*
Me : "Hello?" (I'm thinking, "Not again.")
Hannah: "Hello?"
Me : "Who's calling?"
Hannah: *Silence*
Me : "Hello?"
*Line dead*
One thing that I'm happy about is that I finally used "Who's calling?". Back in the days when a stranger called, our conversation consisted of nothing but 'Hello?'s. Though, the above doesn't make that much of a difference.
Sometimes I wonder if I should play along. Let my eveel side out.
If a girl calls, I'll tell her not to call again. He doesn't want to speak to her. Ever.
If a guy calls, I'll ask him, in a Mainland China accent, "Lou sai, waan bin kuo ar?" (老板, 找谁呀? / Who you lookin' for?)
