Pregnant young girls giving birth everywhere.
Girl gives birth to baby in school [The Star, Thursday, 8 March 07]
IPOH: A Form Four student, who complained of abdominal pains, excused herself from taking part in sports activities only to secretly deliver a baby girl at her school.
She delivered the baby at 1.30pm yesterday at the sick bay of her school in Manjung, about 90km from here. The baby, with its umbilical cord still attached, was found dead in a bag belonging to the student.
Manjung OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaacob, however, declined to say if the newborn was premature or not.
Does the rest of the world not notice the ever growing bellies of these girls?
They've got 9 months to do that. Are people that ignorant of their surroundings?
So they may have thought that she was gaining a little weight around her midsection. But shouldn't there be a difference between pregnancy and obesity?
I personally don't know if there is an obvious difference. I haven't had much luck running into someone that's stout. Maybe one.. but that was so long ago.. And he was a he. Can't really compare to a pregnant woman now, can I?
And Sarah is three months away from labour, by the way. Wahaahaha... I think it's a boy.
Either they make it obligatory that the kid call uncle and aunties by formality, as in sei biew yee or mm biew sook.. or call by Uncle Sean (or Uncle Sean King. Or Uncle SK.) or Aunty Chea Hwey.
Still, I can't believe NOBODY knew the girl was pregnant.
