Everyone in class was screaming and shouting during that scene. Why? First, on how Ofelia is so damn stupid. Second, they were so scared for her. Third, on how oo-glay Mr Pale Man is.

I have to agree that the girl was too naive...how she has forgotten that she should not eat or drink anything when inside?!
The monster would have been scarier if he didn't have eyeballs, but, rather, cavity holes instead of eyes.
