ROAR (for Animal Rights): In My Eyes Only - Day 1

... Mostly my part only lar, of course. You want me to get stoned ar? (Yeah, okay. I think I hear some Chehs in the distance..)

13th June, 2007

Sidenote: A related post, *Passes out*, that was written when I was a bit angry and worried. Not as well written and as detailed as this. :)

10am: Went to college for tutorials and noticed that there was a big bunch of people from Tutorial 1 surrounding Ms Lecturer's table.

Me: "Got meeting ar? Aiyah, then how? I'm out here leh."

A while later, we decided to enter the class.

Found out about news that would have little affect on my department, but the others, probably a significant amount. The venue has been changed to the auditorium. This means no direct access to students. Which then means, Publicity has to work harder.

4.31pm: I received a call from the Marketing Department of college.

They asked me, "Are you coming to work?"

WHAT? I'm supposed to be working? Since when?

Yep. Apparently I was supposed to be working at the Marketing department in college, but I wasn't notified for some weirdass reason.

It's the Scholar Assistanceship thing listed in the contract I signed.

So on Friday (15 June), I've got to report to the Student Services Centre for my new, unpaid job. If you sense a little unhappiness when you read this, don't get me wrong. It's not the part of being unpaid that upsets me. It's the part where I have to be spending 10 hours a week in the office from Friday onwards when I have two presentations, one 40-page report and one major event to kao tim in those few weeks.

It's a bit overwhelming, that's all.

But all in all, a rather productive day. I got Edwin's band, Morning Moon to play for our event. Good exposure. And if they're good enough, and Estranged or their management likes them, then... HahaHaAaAaa. That fella kept me up till 4am. And I had an 8am class.

Also got Aaron to book a booth to sell his LoL! Tees, and Jeat Yieng to head on over to our event during her break.

Aiyah, but I probably forgot to tell her to bring her friends.
