ROAR (for Animal Rights): In My Eyes Only - Day 3

15th June, 2007

3 something in the morning..: What a way to start a new day. I just irritated a committee member. Totally unintentional, just so you know. Then I got restless all night thinking about what I'll do the next morning when I see that person.

10am: Since our event is about Animal Rights, and Ms Lecturer doesn't think the class knows enough about it, she made us watch Earthlings (2005), narrated by Joaquin Phoenix.

Then it was chaos.

12pm: No more classes for the day. Spent two hours talking about the programme booklet. Our team had sooooo many things to do.

2pm: The models were scheduled to be in campus at 2pm for their rehearsal thing. But there's was an accident involving the body painter. Nothing major. I think she's alright now. A few cuts.

4pm: Started making phone calls to the press for 2 hours. That would be about over 50 calls placed with my cell. Ran out of battery. But confirmed four publications' attendance. Very productive day.

The rest of the media will be confirming on Monday, the 18th. But I have to call magazines on Saturday. Bad timing, I think. Don't know if they're working on Saturday. Even worse, Don't know if they received my email or not.

Great.

And we still don't have a printer (as in printing company) to print the press release and booklets. Booklets that many committee members are convinced that will be thrown after flipping through.

Anyway, I'm soooo very tired. Hwey's asleep. Got to wake her up now to do the booklet. Yep. She's in-charge of the booklet.

AhHhh, it's campfire all over again.

People working hard on the backdrop.
