Why I ATE at Friday's

17th October 2007

Handsome got a haircut and he looks funny now.

The right side of his fringe looks a bit weird. I just feel like grabbing a scissors and making it right.

Anyway.

Spent a short time together. Then, off to One U with Mada and Hwey.

Watched Hairspray.

John Travolta is quite funny.

Dinner.

I personally feel that we don't stand a chance to win the free-meal-for-you-and-a-friend thing from Friday's.

I just get this feeling la.

So many other better entries out there in the WWW, right?

So we didn't wait. Besides, Mada wants to eat there.

And I got to try everything I wanted to try! Joy.

We shared a 3-course meal and ordered an extra appetiser.

I'm sorry. I forgot to take the photos before digging in. Again.

The lone ranger,

MISTAKE!

Didn't taste too good.

A little too zesty for my taste.

Mmm.. The four fat prawns were enjoyable though. =)

Next.

Oh. This was good. Orgasmic, I say. =)

Must-have.

Yes, I know. Looks terrible.

But it's so gOoOoOOd!!

Food from TGIF's or Chillie's don't go too well on it's own. Tastes plain. Noticed?? Not like Gardenia. Hahaa.

Geddit??

I digress.

The entree.

Chicken Parmesan Quesadillas.

Reminds me of KFC's Cheezy Melts.

But I think it should have more slices of chicken in the fold. KFC gives more chicken compared to TGIF's. Not enough! Seriously.

This would go well without the tomato dip that comes along with it.

Dessert.

It's coffee-flavoured ice cream topped with almond flakes and chocolate fudge.

(It's like I've got lots to talk about what they can improve on. Won't win la. Confirm.)

They should serve CREAMY, RICH ice cream. Not ICY, ICE ice cream. Like no standard like that.

*shakes head*

Cannot, cannot.

Dinner was rather good. I could've eaten more. But wouldn't be able to finish it.

So off we went and saw him.

Photo from TurkishPress.com

He is so tall can?!

And then that got me thinking. How come Malaysian shoppers seem to be so clueless when they walk around in shopping malls ah?

Do they not notice the superstar that's browsing the clothes on the same clothesrack as they are?

Do they not notice national athletes walking pass?

But what the H-E-ell-ell.

They get distracted by other things in the mall. And probably they do notice, but just go, "Eh, isn't that so and so??"

Malaysians are very reserved la. Exceptional for some la. They won't act excited and all like towards those Hollywood stars. I think in Malaysia that's more like an invasion of privacy d...

Btw, TGIF overseas is equivalent to Malaysian mamak.

O ya, plus, maybe they just don't know the famous in Malaysia. I'm sure the only famous people Malaysians would recognize are only Mahathir, Badawi, and Siti Nurhaliza. Not even the agong. LOL.

Seriously lor, not many Malaysians keep up with the news...
