I'm starting to branch out of my plans again.
I've decided to do Film & TV and MARKETING for my degree. I would've never given marketing any thought at all. But the rest of the units don't really appeal to me. Sure, I'd love to study photography. But I can do that on my own. I'd love to do advertising, it's really fun! But I won't be doing that for a living.
Besides, I've already studied three subjects from the Marketing stream. HahAhahah. Hopefully I'll be exempted! Then I can take electives. What should I learn? *ponders*
And let's be practical, marketing is going to be useful in the future.
I'm thinking of doing another internship. With a record label/music school in Subang Jaya. I can get to Subang with Dad. But.. have to find my way to the specific spot lor.. I forgot what building my daddy works in. hAhAHah. But the label is just behind Taylor's.
Or I can even take a job with them. As a Production Assistant. "To assist producer on various projects" so it says. Salary is commeasurable with experience. I have none. Heehee.
Sigh. So how? Make a change? I'm actually quite content with my current job. I enjoy working there, the books, my colleague.. But I've only been working for less than three weeks and I'm already thinking of change? Even my mother keeps lecturing when I say my company working policy isn't really that ideal. Which is true. But I'm still content.

Going to see all my former colleagues on Friday. =) I miss Meng Yue la. HahaHaha. I hope everybody will be there.

People don't live life to the fullest by being content! I say if you've got a yearning, act on it. If it's one of those things where if you don't do it...you will always be wondering to yourself "what would have happened if you did"...the go ahead and do it!
On the other hand, no job is ideal so...you'll probably have problems with the second one as well. Still, you never know till you try!
Of course, your mum is quite right as well. Try not to make it a habit of constantly switching jobs.

Cyren: True. But I don't want to spend so much money just because of my job. My parents paying for fuel and all that ma. And I think I still have time. I can dabble a bit in everything media.

Vel: The book store job is temporary. So wondering what other jobs I can do lo. And I chose Marketing because Photography students need a manual operated 35mm camera. And I think I can learn myself. haHaha. Marketing is okay la. More or less learn about it before. Media planning ah, consumer behaviour and advertising also learn before.
