I'm never quite bothered to find out what's the difference simply because I forget. I tell myself to search for it later. And then later. And then later again, until I forget.
Ahem. Anyway. I'm going shopping tomorrow! WeEeEEee~ But when they watch Mummy 3, I think I'm going to watch another film or just walk around. The show can be watched once but perhaps not twice. I'm also a little bit turned off by the fact that Rachel Weisz isn't in it anymore. No offense to the Sigourney Weaver lookalike. =) She's pretty but emits a whole different vibe in the movie.
I was watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall earlier in the evening and I had a thought. But I can't for the life of me remember what it was anymore.
Oh. I just remembered something I was annoyed about at work yesterday.
You know how they always say that, 'A customer is always right'? How true is that?
In my current job. When a customer returns a book late, and has to be charged a penalty, he or she says, "Oh, it's okay. I know your boss so well. Just give him a call."
WtHHHH? Am I supposed to be letting them off everytime someone says that to me? Is the customer right here?
There's always the dilemma. And it super sucks. You don't want to get treated like you're stupid, letting them trample over you. Yet you don't want to let them off the hook just because they start to shimmy up with the boss. It's not right.
So what do you do? Let it go? Call the boss to verify/clarify?
I just get annoyed when they give so many excuses to avoid paying a penalty. You didn't return on time so accept the consequences. What's so hard about that wor.. I understand. 钱很难赚.
I'm not going to say anymore. It's like bloody politics.

Maybe you can try to tell them that you are only an employee just doing what you are told. If your boss found out that you waive the penalty fine, he may blame you and you might lose your job, bla, bla, bla...
Then, you ask them to help you instead and pay up the penalty fine first, you will take down their name and tel no. and you will check with your boss when he comes back, if he is ok, you will call them and refund the penalty fines to them on their next visit. Hope this will work.
