I've always wondered what cat trees were for. I thought it was just something fun for them. And before that, I've always wondered why cats have to scratch the carpeting on the tree, or somebody's lap before they nap (as shown on tv!), or just scratch at all48. I grew up with a bunch of cats in my area. And I still don't get them.
