Why do we keep to ourselves? It's just food and the ambience.

My last post sparked a thought in me.

How come most Malaysians don't bother filling out comment cards ah?

See, I was at my nephew's christening after-party. And Cousin Jon started filling out the restaurant's comment card. My other cousin was surprised that he did.

Hey, even I don't fill them up. I fill them in my head. HaHa. I have no idea why I don't do it properly. No habit, I guess.

Oh, hey! I think I answered my own question. =)

I'm thinking it's because that we weren't encouraged by our parents, or perhaps the wait staff, to give our opinions. Normally, in local restaurants, we order, we eat, we pay, we go. However, in certain US chains in Malaysia, like TGIF, their manager comes over and asks, "How's everything? How's the food?"

Next time when you go to a restaurant, fill up those comment cards. Wouldn't hurt providing feedback now, would it?

I thought we it's better to provide comment only when they messed up with something. Haha =)
