真的很佩服那些有organise派对的朋友咯。。
Ma asked if I wanted to invite some friends over for new year's eve. So I thought, okay, sounds like fun.
Sometimes I like to think that Ma just wants to use the grill she bought. It hasn't been used since it's purchase date. Which was, I think, the last time I went to Genting. July?

But I'm having a hard time deciding what to do and having doubts about the whole purpose, since everyone else is throwing their own party or going to somebody's bash. Or joining an open party organised by.. malls/companies.
The thing I don't like about being the host is that I'm overly concerned about whether my guests would have a good time. Is the food okay? Enough variety? Good company? Enough to do? Not bored? And the atmosphere. Very, very concerned.
Lack of cooperation from others as well. Only one la. Ma & Minah are very supportive.
I was thinking of doing a BBQ along with other cooked food. Like Minah's super tasty mee hun with her full of deliciousness chicken curry. I wanted to do sukiyaki as well. You cook the beef slice in a soy sauce soup base (soy sauce and water) and then dunk it in raw egg. It's reEEeeeEEeally good.
And we'll have beer and wine and orange juice and vodka and whiskey cola and sprite with vodka and lemon and lime wedges.
I thought I could also make Baked Cheesecake or Vanilla Cupcakes for dessert. No more parfait thingy that I made during my birthday. The caramel was effed up.
Sigh. I love baking. KindaAaaah.
Okay. I feel better now.
So the whole thing is scrapped. Gotta let Ma know. Excuse me.

I like to put my thoughts down and 'imagine' my whole party. HaHahAHaHa. I didn't start a lot also la. Just told you, bernard & Chia Li maybe I'm having something only. Made out a list of possible food items for that night. That's it.
potluck + booze. That's all you need to make a party going.
