I'm reeeEEeally starting to dislike Australia.

Everything is so expensive. Education, bloody visa applications, housing.

*cursecursecursecursecurse*

They really have to loosen up on their payment policies.

Let's see. Education.

1. You can only pay by semester, which is two per year, or pay in full whereas USA allows you to pay by several installments per year. (So you don't have to fork out a large sum at one go.)

2. You can count the scholarships available to international, transfer students (specifically) with one hand. Maybe less than 5 fingers. I can't remember. Point is, they're not very big on scholarships and shit. In the US, they would be so happy to give you scholarships and grants.

Visa applications.

1. Xxxxing expensive can!? (Let's use USD) 302.205 USD compared to USA's 131.00 USD. Sigh. Paper more expensive there, is it? Headache la.

Housing.

1. The lease runs for 40 weeks or 20 weeks and charges by week. Normally you are required to pay for 20 weeks first then the next 20, when you start the second semester. And if you want to move in earlier, let's say, four days, they still charge you a week's rent. SIGH. Have to move in early wert. Make it worth it lo. One full week it is. But, what about the accommodation my parents booked?? Mai mm dai!

2. And if you check in outside office hours, charge.

*cursecursecursecurse*

Damn stupid.

Why did the exchange rate crash and wither..

so, you are starting to regret for choosing Curtin? you should have stand on with the US or UK scholarship.

btw, my dad asked where your parents apply for the visa. it should be free. but because himself didn't do it before, so don't know where to get it done. thanks.

No la. No regrets. What's there to regret anyway? The economy changed some things for me. So that's the way it is.

You can do it online. This is a direct link to the application form. But read up on the student visa before you apply.

Or you can choose to go to the embassy.

It's 450 AUD. No such thing as free wan lo. Got la. Japan.
