Anyway, Ma & Pa said that a new Carrefour opened today at the new place, and they're having discounts.



The place is pretty bare. Except for Starbucks, of course. WhoOooOo wouldn't want to go to Starbucks, right? Honestly, it's just coffee with flavour. (I had a lot more to say about the concept, but better not la.)



The place was freezing. Maybe because there wasn't a lot of people yet. Or I get cold easily. They've got Kenny Roger's, and Esquire Kitchen. Yummy! =)

There's this shop called Kitschen or something like that. It's like Nichii City. China products but sold at high prices. I don't know la. That's the idea I got. The workmanship was not very good.

And also because the Nichii at Sg Besi is so much cheaper than the outlets they have in malls.

Anyway.

So let's move on to Carrefour. We haven't shopped there for years because now we find that Tesco gives comsumers better prices.

So we shop and shop. The floors are a bit on the dirty side; wet and dusty, with a hint of dirt. Of course, they have cleaners mopping the floor. Variety, sama aje. Prices, I won't compare because I haven't been to other hypermarkets in a long time. Customer service, Wah... Yi liu (一流) ah.

But then maybe it's because there are less customers now?

They were friendly and helped guide customers to available checkout counters. Specifically for Carrefour staff la. They were on rollerblades, too.

There were two other Farm's Best promoters who were helpful as well. But thank goodness Dad came to my rescue! I didn't know how to disengage myself from the flow of conversation! Pai seh also la..

Parking is free. For now. Basement parking is brightly lit, very good. Not very hot, too, I realised.
