I have decided.

I've decided to change one of my streams after this semester ends. I don't want to do Internet Policy & Culture anymore. Too much sitting down and burning holes in my brain.

I want to do Internet Design.

I think.

Yeah.. More practical work and a skill that can be used. I seem to have the idea that a lot of those who take Internet Studies turn out to be academics later on in life. For some odd reason la. No substantiating evidence whatsoever.

You know, I went as far as the Science and Engineering schools? Yes, I checked out Forensics and Civil Engineering. Even Architectural, Construction, Language and Asian Culture, TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Physiotherapy, and Psychology.

The Social Sciences were pretty cool. Anthropology belongs to that school. And I found out that we even have a Sexology programme in the School of Public Health. They offer a postgraduate degree in Forensic Sexology. Very cool la. I wanted to do that. Fo' realzzz. Catch rapists and put them in jail yo.

I'm not desperate for a change. Just wanted to explore what else Curtin offers and see if I'm missing out. Which I clearly am.

Right. So now I've got to convince Hwey to join me. XD

Maybe I can sign up for the short courses offered in the future. They have a Distance & Open Learning for people who want to study for general interest only! That's what I'm talking about, man!
