A narcissist, I am.

So are you.

Think about it. Why do you have a personal blog? To talk about yourself and the things that YOU do. So what's the point of having a personal blog if you're not narcissistic?

And the quizzes on Facebook. Everybody wants to know what type of girl they are, what DoTA character they are, when will they get married, which Power Ranger they are, et cetera. Which is really... *palm face drag*

People want to know what others think about them, in general. Especially when it's the good stuff.

Just thought about it.. But then when I read it over again, it doesn't seem right for some parts. Tell me if I got it wrong.

You know how lately I've been complaining about how sucky uni is and all that?

I've got some confidence and motivation booster for two units. Damn kembang already. =)

Apparently, I've shown improvements in my reading logs. And my essay on leetspeak was "... very original... and very interesting to read." Cha dou..

I obtained quite a low mark for it, though. Not enough words also. Haha.

But I'm freaking out at the same time because it's added pressure and I get worried on whether I can reproduce the good parts of my work.

narcissistic huh. At least you have something good to show people. Human beings are like that. It's not too bad if he/she is not over boasting on something.

Agreed on the blog bit, but not so much on the quizzes bit.

Facebook to me is a portal of networking, and maybe a little bit of narcissism, but definitely NOT quizzes.

A little bit of generalisation there in your part :P

Vel: Yes, yes. Agree. Too much of anything is not good ma.

Ray: I was focusing on the quiz trend on FB. Then I thought, why are they doing it? Even if some of the results weren't 'true' i.e., what's your birth month?

Then I asked myself why would I do quizzes. For fun and also to know what I am. Like the IQ stuff. To me, at some level, it kinda relates to narcissism. Something like that la. =)

I just realized how Internet Studies is so useful here. And also, you can write articles related to technology, like Chris Null on Y! Tech.

I think you'd be the one writing articles on Y! Tech.
