... I know that's not the only reason. But it's one of the reasons.
I already know more or less how officers of the law treat those in custody, whether guilty or suspected. Two were from videos and one from a fourth person account.
But what's with the violence? Why do you have to beat them up? Just to get them to confess so you can close the case? Apparently, they've got no conscience.
This whole world is so xxxked up. First, you've got politicians. Then, corrupted businessmen. And then law enforcers.
Yes, the cops in Malaysia are paid very little. So shouldn't the government channel some funds to the cops and not use them to fund some mega project that is absolutely unnecessary as yet? It's like a company isn't it? What use is it having big dreams and projects if you can't even make your own staff happy?
Problem already solved. If your employer is not willing to pay you more, look for money somewhere else. In other words, the people. Aren't we more than willing to do so?
I have a tendency to think ahead and not the present. Like how I want to stop studying and start working. I seem to always look forward to working than studying, for some odd reason. And how, after watching one of the videos mentioned above, I want to get PR in OZ. Which led to me scoping out Immigration's website. Turns out my line of work is not sought after in OZ. Bernard's is, though.
By the way, I'm thinking of taking up Japanese when I come back for Summer holidays. PAAM (Persatuan Alumni ATOS Scholarship) is offering RM485/person for Basic I. That goes on for about a month before moving on to Basic II. ICLS totally turned me off with them saying, "Student[s] can experience Japanese cultural events such as speech contest, karaoke contest, etc.".
I just found a video in my laptop that made my day!!! XD HAhaHAHahaH.

Engineering is very HIGH demand in Australia, for some reason. I guess. So sure can get PR one after study for 2 years here.
And, I've been watching videos in my laptop that made my day too! HaHA. :)

tkc55: I asked Uncle Francis and Auntie Yvonne, they said that I can apply even after I return to Malaysia. Can get sponsored like that lo.
I find it interesting when you said 'if your employer is not willing to pay you more, look for money somewhere else'.
Isn't that what is happening already? The government does not provide high pay and thus government servants tend to ask for bribes and 'money for tea'.
It's all very nice and good to say that the PEOPLE will not stand for it and we want change but let me ask you this:what are YOU doing about it?
I am not being accusatory but as you can see, you are already thinking of working in another country and not Malaysia. We are experiencing a major brain drain because all the good ones are thinking about going overseas to work rather than come back and serve. So what happens then? The defectives, the bad and the incompetent remain. Then these people go up to the upper echelons of management/administration where they can screw things up in a bigger scale.
Then people will think 'Hmmmm, this place is fucked up. I wanna leave'. Then the vicious cycle continues.
Do you see what I am trying to say?
all the good ones are thinking about going overseas to work rather than come back and serve.
dont worry im willing to stay hahaha!!! I've nvr tot of working oversea...... yet.
