Your which-camera-to-buy woes are answered!

If you're like me, not-so-tech-savvy-thus-will-have-some-problems-in-deciding-which-camera-to-buy, I got a newsletter from Photojojo today about this site called snapsort.

It compares cameras statistically.

Awesome, right?? I like lor.

I care about the specs despite me not knowing what is what. But when you have something that helps you make comparisons, you can easily find out what all the other mumbo jumbo like CCD or NMOS is. Sensors!!

I sound so bimbotic hor..

I made comparisons between Panasonic's SLR and point-and-shoot models, L10 and LX3. These are the two cameras xiaxue is using. And they take pretty decent photos.

I was trying to look for the one Vel uses. Canon Digital Ixus whatever-number. Couldn't find it. They all look alike. So I went with the 950 IS and 100 IS. Both lost to Panasonic.

Canon PowerShot SX200 IS as well.

They show similarities and differences, and which camera is the 'winner'. The specs will be listed on the right of each camera as they reveal which camera wins.

Maybe I'm not choosing the cameras properly la. I'm not rooting for the LX3 either although it sure looks pretty good to me.

The main point is that snapsort is AWESOME!

But if you think of it from another angle, technology sure is making us more and more lazy. And not so knowledgeable. We won't be doing our homework when making investments like these. We may just rely on sites like snapsort to make decisions for us.
