KL and PJ

To me, there's a big distinction when you say KL or PJ. When someone asks Hwey and I where we're from, she likes to say KL and would somehow tend to say, "Oh you know, I had this idea that KL people don't like PJ ppl." Then I'm like, WhAT?! 0.o

But I like to say I'm from PJ. I'm a PJ person. I don't not like KL people. My mum's from KL. I just don't get the roads in KL.

To me, KL is a city where there's more danger because of the night clubs and stuff. Also because the roads are confusing for me, but I'm getting better! Too many one way streets, though.

This brings me to whether I wanna work in KL or PJ. Usually when I browse jobs, I look for those in PJ. But a lot of interesting jobs are located in KL, like Genting. Now, they're looking for a Show Operations Executive. I would like to do that.

I was browsing through KL room to let ads and noticed the only place I want to be in is TTDI. hAhaH. It is very close to PJ. Second and third is Sri Hartamas and Bangsar. Also because they are closer but they're too expensive.

Speaking of rental properties, some places like Cheras give you pretty good rental yield. There are so many residential areas in Cheras and that gives way to a lot of commercial areas. Of course you'll have to really choose properly and look at the surroundings and think of natural disasters la. Like floods. KL ma.
