Get your facts right.

Dietary supplements (DSs) do not mean pills like Alli diet pills or Ovoro, etc.. As its name suggests, DSs are supposed to supplement your food/nutritional intake by providing you with vitamins, fibre or whatever that you miss out.

A lot of review sites that I come across frequently use the term diet supplements. It's either the companies used the term wrongly and consumers started to follow suit, hence, making it a common word, or consumers just plainly used it wrongly.

Get your facts right.
