I missed this stage of growing up?

A thought spurred by Lis' status update on graduation being overrated..

I realised that I have never, ever walked up on stage to receive my scroll. Not even in kindergarten. I was supposed to, but I can't remember why I didn't. But then thakn goodness I didn't go! I took a peek backstage and saw that the kids had to sit on benches wearing nothing but underwear/pants.

There was no ceremony for primary and secondary school. In college, I skipped because I thought it was expensive. Man, was I wrong.. In university, it cost even more. What, with the airfare and accommodation.

I actually passed on all my graduation ceremonies. ALL.

WHAT WAS I THINKING!?

I swear, my wedding is going to have a graduation theme.
