When the Eczema flare ups are too serious, or your condition is already really bad, doctors prescribe steroids.
Steroids are some powerful shit.
After the night I started using them, my skin looked as if it were "healed". (Steroids don't heal-heal. They just relieve or control symptoms and such)
What a miracle.
A week or more later, it recurred.
I applied them again, but they were useless.
Little ol' me didn't know that it wouldn't help anymore if it came back. I only knew I had to put on the cream that the doctor prescribed and to make sure I applied it sparingly.
Basically, I use it often. Not often enough to thin my skin and seep into my bloodstream, though.
Actually I use it quite a lot on my neck.
And I don't even know what's in the cream the skin specialist gave me. I just slop some on when I have a bad looking wound. Some days it looks fine, some days they're scratched and damagy-looking.
And I've been using it long enough.
You know, I've been living with this never-healing wounds on my neck for... 3-4 years? Everyone assumes that they're lovebites. Pfft. Please la..
Somebody send me to a drug rehab, please. I think I might go overdose one day.
