Malaysian inventions and glorious food

Came back from KL not long ago.

Took the SMART Tunnel to KL. (sidenote: Why does the government like to name most of their things SMART bla bla bla?)

We went to KLCC to see Malaysian inventions.

Bulletproof vests, mosquito repellent pellets cum fuel, palm ash tiles, tile laying machines and some fancy gadget for the toilet bowl that can prevent a nasty looking anal.

Then we went to this back alley along Petaling Street to have dinner.

The place is called Sai Kee.

Location: Behind Kong Wooi Fong Tea Merchants (72, Jln Sultan, KL)

Apparently we kids have been there when we were in primary school. Then, the place was dingy and scary. We made a big fuss over the place. Now, it's cleaner. But Sean is still fussing. Tsk tsk tsk...

Recommended dishes: (everything is in mandarin, so these are direct translations)
Beef with ginger and onion (The green leaf thing, not the bulb)
Eggplant with shrimp
Steamed ribs with black beans

Yay! We're going to see Baby Ryan tomorrow!
