Humans sure are weird. I cannot stress that enough.

Simple contraptions/items/accessories like that, where it's common in the streets of other countries, gets picked up by some rich dude and he turns it into a trend. A mania or something.

I totally understand the concept. I mean the concept of how people like things they don't have. And also the marketing concept of things like this. To make it desirable. Bla bla bla..


Man, studying advertising has totally changed my perspective on things.

Now I have second thoughts about everything I buy. I suppose, in a way, consumers are being manipulated.

Take the iPhone, for example. You guys should know this. All the hoo-ha about it months before it was launched. (It was months, right?) Turns out it was not practical. Everybody switched back to Blackberry.

Okay. So their marketing plan succeeded. They got them all hyped up, no doubt. But that tiny hole in their well thought of plan (I suppose) they missed was their product.

YeeES la! I know, okay? I'm slow. Blogging about this when the news was ages ago. That's why I don't think journalism is my line. No currency. Hehe.. That all can be improved on though.
