Okay. So I'm in Australia right now and I can't access YouTube. Australia does not have an Internet filtering system since there weren't enough votes.
But I've been reading so much on filters, I can't help but think that it's a possible block by the Australian government. Which is really not true.
Did you know that China isn't open (questionable, since the government did announce that they want to create a harmonious society, but not sure if they mentioned by censoring the Net) or transparent about their filtering system?
People don't even know that there was such a system, because when they request for a page or site, it either fails to load or there's an error. Some are just blocked. Like Hotmail, Twitter and Flickr, two days before the 20th Anniversary of the Tiananmen Square incident.
So I haven't been able to access YouTube for the whole day now. What about you?
