Yes, I've never been to prom.
Why is that?? I don't even know why myself. Maybe it's because of money issues. Everytime there's a prom, I'm actually out of money or don't have enough.
Now, I'm never going to prom. My final semester dawns upon me. Then it's work. What am I going to do anyway? Huh.

I don't think dawn upon should be used like that. To dawn upon means realizing.. as if you didn't know before. You could use "looms" or "dawn of a new semester" instead.
Eh.. I checked and it said can be used to mean the beginning of something.
well yeah, like the dawn of a new age. but when you add "upon".. it means to realize. but from your sentence, it doesnt sound like you meant to realize.
sigh i feel bad for the both of you.. the food at our prom was really good.. i have dreams about it.. HAhaha
