Everything needs to be maintained. And not maintained when it shows signs of problems, but after every use, depending on what equipment.

Like a small exhaust fan. The cover of one fell onto the wok last night. Not screwed in properly or it got lose.

Your fridge. Refrigerator filters need to be cleaned and replaced to ensure you're consuming clean and safe water.
