The Internet is full of idiots.

I was checking Hwey's email for her and someone forwarded a mail to her, regarding a warning for girls when they visit a store in MidValley.

Some of you may have already gotten it.

But HELLO???!!?!?!?!!!

What's in the content?!

Images and images of girls in the fitting room!!

Do they not possess this thing called empathy?!

If someone is circulating nude photos but possibly with good intentions (which I believe that that someone has lower EQ than the person with the lowest EQ in the world has), and it ruins the victim, stop forwarding lar.. Edit the email. Remove the photos and just put everything in words.

If you can't write, then don't bother forwarding it at all.

In advertising, they say the most effective advertisement is a combination of strong visuals and a powerful copy. Actually, it's what my Advertising lecturer said. She provided the notes wert..

I say, in this case, a powerful copy would be the most effective way of passing on this message. You don't frickin' need images for this! Ruining peoples' lives lar..

Dimwits.

The original sender probably didn't even intend to send it out as a good cause. Probably just wanted to send out nude photos for the sake of getting'em out in the net. He/she even got his/her facts wrong.

Humans are easily deceived by just a few words. Has got something to do with advertising as well.

The single most effective word is 'FREE'.

Especially when you put it up huge and in bold.

Malaysians will flock to the image of the word and ask, "Where? Where? What free??" But then there will be a catch, like...

"Oh, auntie ar, you have to buy this phone with all this features, THEN you will get a fleee(free) casing! Leh-der(leather) leh! Nah, touch and see! Ah, smee-ell(smell) lar! Riuu(real) wan, you know?"

As someone so kindly put it, "Malaysians are suckers for free stuff."

I'm out of topic.

Back to the dumbness of it all.

If someone you knew appeared in those pictures, or even worse, your pictures, you'd probably start chanting profanity. But I'd already done it without knowing anyone in the photos AND by not appearing in them. (I haven't even heard of the damn shop! Well, that's because I hardly frequent MV anymore. The whole place turns me off.)

But then hor... Come to think of it, can you actually let customers try on underwear? Bra, okay lar.. But panties wor?

So very unhygienic.
